Marketing move or just plain awesome?

GET THE COLOR
Miranda is a natural 6/7 base.
STEP 1: Start back to front. Apply Redken Chromatics 8AG and Chromatic 9AB and equal parts 30 volume for the base. Leave on for 5 minutes. Using 8AG and 9AB bumps the base without any red.
STEP 2: Apply Redken Argan-6 Hair Oil for Dry Hair to ends for protection and shampoo hair while holding the ends. After, use the base to cover baby hair around the face. Leave on for 5 minutes, shampoo, and rough dry hair.
STEP 3: Apply Redken Up to 7 and 20 vol to create a few highlights on the root. Balayage Up to 7 and 10 vol between foils for pops of color. You can also balayage Chromatics 9NGB 10 vol to add depth and make the blonde pop. Let process 20-30 minutes and check on it every 10 minutes.
STEP 4: After processing, shampoo using Redken Diamond Oil Shampoo and Conditioner to strengthen hair and boost shine and smoothness.
STEP 5: Before blowdrying, spray Pillow Proof Blow Dry Express Primer as a heat protectant and to cut down on dry time. Then add Redken Velvet Gelatine 07 Cushioning Blow Dry Gel to create a silky blowout with added volume.
STEP 6: For frizz control and added texture, finish with Outshine 01 Anti-Frizz Polishing Milk and a touch of Fashion Waves 07 Sea Salt Spray.
"Miranda loves her hair to have texture, so this combination gives her that rock-and-roll look she craves!" Craig says.
