Maggie Mulhern | July 26, 2017 | 1:38 PM

Sheena (@queenstylista) of QueenStylista's Mane Artistry, Philadelphia, PA, had a color correction on her hands after her client played with a little "at-home" spot coloring. "She wanted to start from gold/blonde and transition to an icy gray." Sheena jumped in for the save and shares details for the three sessions:

First service (Pic 2 formula): 9G Joico, 30 volume + Olaplex #1, processed for 40 minutes. Rinsed well and applied Olaplex #2 for 30 minutes.

2 months later (Pic 3 formula): Lifted hair with Wella Blondor Lightener, 30 volume + Olaplex #1 for 40 minutes. Rinsed and applied Wella Color Touch toner 10/81 + Olaplex #1 for 15 minutes. Rinsed and applied Olaplex #2 for 30 minutes.

1 month after that (Pic 4 formula): Spot lifted to remove remaining yellow with Wella Blondor lightener, 20 V + Olaplex #1 for 40 minutes. Rinsed and toned with Guy Tang Mydentity Xpress toners, Titanium & Pearl + Olaplex #1 for 30 minutes. Rinsed and applied Olaplex #2 for 30 minutes.
