One of those top creative colorists is Shelley Gregory. Gregory, of Atelier by Square Salon in Las Vegas, was an early adopter of creative color and has built her social media following over the years, positioning herself as a #COLORFULHAIR expert. L’Oréal Professionnel partnered with Gregory to bring her expertise of this color category to hairdressers everywhere. For a client, one of the main roadblocks to trying creative color is a misunderstanding of what goes into the service and all of its possibilities. “Creating chic, customized creative color comes from a thorough consultation and the proper placement of each color onto the hair,” says Justine Berger, Director of L’Oréal Professionnel Artist & Education Development. The consultation between stylist and client is vital to executing the perfect results for each individual and keep them coming back from more. To encourage clients to be open to the possibilities of #COLORFULHAIR, display the beautiful tubes in the front of the salon and highlight it on your color menu as a quick and easy add-on service.

To continue the conversation, talk about your client’s sense of style, work environment and personality. #COLORFULHAIR can be tailored to suit any client. How light is your client willing to go?
