Join Farouk Systems in a Cut-a-Thon to Benefit PBA Disaster Relief Fund

Farouk Systems, Inc., a company of hairdressers for hairdressers, is helping hairdressers and salons impacted by Hurricane Harvey and Irma. Their #Hairdressers4Hairdressers campaign encourages hairdressers, salons and schools to participate in a Nationwide Cut-a-Thon to raise money for the Professional Beauty Industry’s (PBA)  Disaster Relief Fund during the month of September 2017. 100% of the donations collected will go to their relief efforts to help hairdressers restore their businesses and livelihood. To date, over 17 of CHI Partner Schools have committed to the Cut-a-Thon.

In response to Hurricane Harvey, Dr. Farouk Shami committed $5,000,000 in products and tools to various shelters, churches, organizations, stylists and salons. To date, Farouk Systems has donated to the following: Salvation Army, Houston Area Women's Center, Gallery Furniture, Mt. Hebron Baptist Church, Community of Faith, Bethel Baptist Church, Greater First Missionary Baptist Church and Project Recover, among many others.

"We would like want to thank our CHI Partner Schools and salons for participating in our Cut-a-Thons to help raise money for the PBA’s Disaster Relief Fund as well as our distributor Armstrong McCall for helping to deliver our product and tool donations to stylists and salons devastated by Hurricane Harvey.
