ECRU NEW YORK’s Creative Director, Lisa Lobosco, talks Knots. Her artistic collaboration with LUYANG BY YANGLU and NOLCHA S/S 18 was all about creating the essential element of balance.

Yanglu’s collection was about this beautiful, clean, structure accented by one of the hottest retro season trends, the headband (bows). Lobosco explains, “Creating balance was essential, so we strategically crafted three knotted buns on the head, (one on top, two on the sides) using Dry Texture Spray from the Texture Collection, to bring balance once we twisted the band into a bow”.

This trend is the perfect accent to the deconstructed power suits, and structured lines in fashion.
