Extension Styling: To recreate actress Sophie Turner’s copper hair using extensions, Great Lengths Educator Nanci Lee would
apply either Lengthen or Volumize
to match length and density.

“The association with gingers
and autumn is reflected in the
changing leaves and pumpkin-flavored everything,” Lee says. “If your client is ready for something different, try adding a little ginger
snap this fall.”

To style, Lee would round brush and then style using a 1½-inch curling iron in vertical sections, away from the face. Finish with a light hairspray like Great Length’s Soft Finish Spray and Super Shine spray, both made especially for extensions.

Achieving the perfect red for your client is a three-step process: choose the color, style the desired length and volume and prescribe an at-home regimen to keep the look vibrant. Click through the slideshow to see how to keep and maintain a copper queen.
