Nothing feels better than a client walking out of the salon transformed with an awesome looking balayage!
@texasbalayage has a lot of different balayage before and afters on her Instagram page, which is where we found this makeover. This client came in with 2-3 inches of new growth and faded permanent red color on the ends—which as we all know, is hard to remove.
- To start, @texasbalayage balayaged her client using @guytang_myidentity Magnum 8, a violet dusting powder that provides conditioning during the lightening process.
- To balance out the color, @texasbalayge toned with Wella Instamatic Smokey Amethyst, which acts on only highlighted or pre-highlighted portions of hair and gives the color an overall “cooler” look. She also used Coiffance USA during the toning process.
- To help retain her client’s elasticity during processing and lightening, she credits using Olaplex, a three-step system that prevents damage and repairs hair.
