The ’50s and ’60s film star Brigitte Bardot is often referenced when people chat about the quintessential blonde bombshell. It was her gorgeous, undone, blonde, sexy and full hair that truly was the crown to her beauty.

“The beauty of extensions is you can take already gorgeous hair and take it to the next level,” Victoria Casciola says. “Extensions can totally transform a client giving her volume, length, fresh color, lift and even bangs without any
commitment.”

Mixing and matching shades of tape-ins, minis, and the new Top of the Head clip-in, the team created a rooted
and natural finish.

“The goal was to create a gentle somber—not ombre—seamless melt,” Casciola says. “Hairtalk’s pre-rooted shades make it look as if the hair is growing out of the scalp.”

The artists mixed and matched three shades in 18-20 inch extensions: 6/24CM (a colormelt), 23 (a solid blonde) and 60A (the new platinum blonde). The extensions were alternated, piggybacked and sandwiched to create highlights and lowlights throughout the hair. Mini Strands in shade 23 were used to add that pop of color around the face and the Top of the Head piece was customized for the perfect touch. The entire look was created in less than one hour.

“The finished result is natural, luxurious and beautiful,” Casciola says. “It’s amazing what can be done in a very short time.”
