Drew Schaefering, NYC hairstylist and CRUXE Founder @cruxebrand, created these Siren Waves using L’Oréal Professionnel products. Scroll through the Instagram feed of Cruxe, and a theme emerges: minimal, modern, black, white, light and shadow.

Keeping with that theme, we give you these glamourous waves you can create by curling vertical sections away from the face and on both sides of the head.

Siren Waves

  1. Prep by distributing L’Oréal Professionnel Hollywood Waves, Siren Waves evenly throughout damp hair.
  2. Dry hair with a diffuser, and create a deep side part.
  3. Beginning approximately 2 -3 inches from the new-growth area, using a curling iron or wand, introduce curls in vertical sections away from the face on both sides of the head throughout mid-lengths and ends.
  4. Apply L’Oréal Professionnel Infinium 4 to the waves and overall look to create shine and hold.
