Artistic Director Rafe Hardy is excited about Sexy Hair’s new collection Express Yourself, the result of powerful techniques, products and tools needed to create a variety of looks from one cut.

“This collection is all about emotion,” Hardy says. “We are going back to exercising talent and utilizing inspiration.”

For this MODERN SALON session, Hardy and International Master Artist Dawn Atkinson prepped the hair with curls, rotating directions and using various iron sizes for a “clash-curl” effect. Once set, the hair was styled into different looks ranging from the commercial Demure to the wearable-with-an-edge Let It Roar, and finally the more avant garde Alter Ego.

“This is a fun collection for both the stylist and the client,” Hardy says.
