Celeb hair stylist Giannandrea created his gorgeous “tousled and modern crop” on Sharon Stone for the 75th Golden Globes, exclusively using five products from MOP’s Basil Mint, Lemongrass and C-System collections. The key to Giannandrea's six-step five-product guide is patience and precisely-ordered product layering for achieving Sharon’s softly-sculpted short and swept locks, as he shared his method below:

STEP 1: “I washed her hair using MOP's Basil Mint Revitalizing Shampoo; its basil, mint and sage extracts stimulate the scalp and controls excess oil production. Skip conditioner then simply yet gently towel dry.”

STEP 2: “Given Sharon’s fine hair texture, I generously sprayed MOP's Lemongrass Lift to the entire top-crown area to create a solid foundation from the roots throughout the length of her layers.” The pump spray’s key ingredients of lemongrass, gingko biloba and hydrolyzed wheat protein (which provides thermal protection) also gently condition the hair for ease in creating style and volume.

STEP 3: “Using my hands to distribute MOP's new Lemongrass Volume Whip throughout the whole length helps creates moveable volume with medium hold, giving each strand a strong grip on volume before blow drying.”

STEP 4: “Starting at the top, segment hair into small sections. Slowly blow dry using a small round brush with the dryer set at a low speed. Each section must be lifted straight up from the roots then rounded at the ends to achieve a super-voluminous result. The sides and back are brushed backward. The top is tousled and softer-looking while being blown out in an upwards direction.”

STEP 5: “Once her hair was completely dry, I applied a dime-sized dollop of MOP’s new Basil Mint Clay for definition and maintaining hold. To apply, use your hands and fingers to evenly distribute the product, piecing out the ends of each section - all the way backwards, on the sides, and upwards on the top while twisting the ends. The result: very cool and effortless elegance with a modern edge.”

STEP 6: “This last-step sets the style when using MOP’s C-System Firm Finish Hair Spray primarily on each side for hold, then lightly on the top.”
