NYFW: Oribe at Chromate Fall/Winter 2018

An outdoor adventure of neon hues hit the runway during Chromat’s Fall/Winter 2018 show. The collection, which showcased sportswear and featured elements of utility and movement, had models strapped in by bungee cords. Oribe Director of Training and Content, Kien Hoang, created two active looks to go along with the colorful collection and tied his own playfully shaped bungees into the style.

All models with natural texture and curl were styled with Imperméable Anti-Humidity Spray.

Get The Look:

Bubbled High Pony Tail

1. Prep hair with Royal Blowout Heat Styling Spray to add shine.
2. Pull hair up into a high ponytail and secure.
3. Using Dry Texturizing Spray throughout the lengths of the ponytail, backcomb hair to create volume and secure into a “bubble." Repeat for a second bubble.
4. Finish with Imperméable Anti-Humidity Spray to eliminate frizz and flyaways.

Sleek Straight Style

1. Prep hair with Royal Blowout Heat Styling Spray to add shine.
2. Straighten hair from roots to ends using Superfine Strong Hair Spray and Imperméable Anti-Humidity Spray to eliminate flyaways.
3. Flatten hair behind the ears and finish with Star Glow Styling Wax.
4. Attach bungee cord near the temple and wrap around the crown. Secure on the opposite temple.
