As the countdown to the 6th Beauty Changes Lives Experience continues, meet the NextGen team representing Redken on the fashion runway, Sunday April 29, during America’s Beauty Show.

As Global Artistic Director, Chris created Redken’s vision for trend shoots, styling and finishing techniques. He helps develop the core curriculum in Principle Based Design, Redken education and fashion trends; as well as facilitating Redken’s train-the-trainer programs. In addition to representing Redken as Education Artistic Director, Exchange Facilitator and training coach, Chris is the owner and president of Fuel Productions and Chris Baran companies. His accolades include being named Canadian Hairdresser of the Year, receiving an ABBIE for Best Educational Program and being awarded the Master Stylist title at NAHA. Chris has twice been named Avant Garde Hairdresser of the Year and Educator of the Year in Canada.

A native of Nashville, Tenn., Megan is a 2017 graduate of The Salon Professional Academy in Evansville, Ind. As a student, Megan quickly distinguished herself, placing in the SPEC Franchise National Student Competition color category and participating in a national campaign photo shoot with Redken Global Artistic Director Chris Baran and L’Oreal Professional artists and photographers. Megan’s career dreams include editorial, runway, session and platform work.
