THE LOOK: ALL STARS, the TV series focused on head to toe makeovers, is announcing the official partnership with the North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA), the premier photographic hairstyling competition. Through this unique partnership, all NAHA applicants get the opportunity to be automatically enrolled in the casting review process to potentially make it on the national TV series.

THE LOOK: ALL STARS is a head-to-toe makeover competition show featuring two teams of beauty and fashion experts performing transformations. The show provides a platform to elevate hair, make-up and fashion industry professionals in the same way cooking shows have provided an educational platform for chefs. THE LOOK: ALL STARS will highlight the best of the profession, allowing established talent the opportunity to pass on their knowledge and excitement. The makeovers are meant to provide inspiration and specific ‘how-to’s for the audience through themed timed challenges.

NAHA has spotlighted the most creative artists from the professional beauty world.  Winning a coveted NAHA signals to your peers your status as part of an elite circle of artists. Hundreds of applications are received yearly with the winners announced as part of a dynamic ceremony, hosted this year on Sunday evening, July 29th, at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

“The collaboration with THE LOOK: ALL STARS and NAHA makes perfect sense as the TV series seeks to put the spotlight on the most talented professionals, chosen in light of their accomplishments and their ability to transform individuals’ appearances to make them look and feel their best. The positive aspect of the show and the ability to provide a national consumer platform on broadcast TV is what prompted PBA to partner with THE LOOK: ALL STARS," says Steve Sleeper, PBA Executive Director.

Episodes slated to air at the end of July 2018 will feature hairstylists as part of the talent cast who were NAHA 2018 applicants. The NAHA platform allows stylists to present looks created after much planning and visual collaboration with a team of artists while THE LOOK: ALL STARS will challenge their talent as hair stylists. Featured stylists will be able to showcase their artistry in a high-pressure environment across different types of challenges to showcase their diverse skill set and ability to integrate commentary and graphic demonstrations to explain the process to viewers at home.

To further the engagement of NAHA applicants with THE LOOK: ALL STARS and allow more professionals the ability to partake in the TV series, the show producers will host a casting call onsite at Mandalay Bay Convention Center on Monday, July 30th from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Interested licensed professionals wanting to learn more about the TV series and secure possible participation are invited to attend the open casting call.

Additionally, NAHA 2018 will integrate some of THE LOOK: ALL STARS judges and participants during its ceremony hair legends such as Sam Villa, Vivienne Mackinder, Kim Vo and others.

“The entire team at THE LOOK: ALL STARS, is extremely excited to collaborate with the Professional Beauty Assocation and be able to integrate the super talented artists who are the true creative drivers of the professional industry. We are pleased to be able to feature talent from the rising stars of the industry on our TV series and look forward to providing our national broadcast platform to spotlight the positive and uplifting aspect of the profession in a drama-free environment,” says Kim Vo, co-host, THE LOOK: ALL STARS.

Sponsors of the show include: Aquage, Biosilk, Chi, BabylissPRO, Esquire, HairTalk, Obliphica, Olaplex, Rusk, Schwarzkopf, TIGI, Zadro, WetBrush, SportClips with American Crew, Joico and Paul Mitchell, BSG CosmoProf and a partnership with the Professional Beauty Association and many others.  Other major brands outside of beauty, include JBL, Alyce Paris, Enrico Cuini and Fashion Nova.
