Aveda Global Creative Director Antoinette Beenders created an undone, care-free textured look for Tom's 2219 show at NYFW.

"We wanted lost of texture in the hair," Beenders says. "Naturally, we used Texture Tonic. Ryan [Lobo, Tome
co-founder and designer] always likes piecey hair—that’s why we created a product that did that.”

Texture Tonic, which launched in 2017, was originally inspired by a Tome show that Beenders styled.

To keep the hair out of the face, Beenders took two small pieces from just below the temples, pulled them around the back of the head and fastened them with an elastic at the nape of the neck.

For the models' makeup, Aveda Global Artistic Director, Makeup Janell Geason wanted to create a barely-there look with an emphasis on the brows.

"On the skin, we just used concealer where needed," Geason says. "We didn't want the models to look like they spent time on their makeup."

The touch-of-drama brow look began as Geason difined each brow with an Aveda Flax Sticks Daily Effects spoolie brush. She then swept brown powder and Aveda Mosscara. The lips were kept natural with Aveda's Feed My LIps Pure Nourish-min Lip Treatment.
