When Tyler Plemmons (@tyler.art) got his hands on the new direct dye additive @Pure Pigments from Goldwell, his brain immediately started formulating all the magic he'd create! The additives are completely customizable and are perfect for high-fashion shades and for toning naturals.

In this how-to, he formulates a dimensional peachy-pink using Goldwell Colorance combined with the new @Pure Pigments.

FORMULA:
Zone 1: Goldwell Pastel Lavender with 4 drops of  Purple @Pure Pigments
Zones 2 and 3: Weave large sections using Pastel Peach, with 1 Drop of Orange @Pure Pigments. And Pastel Rose with 1 SMALL drop of Red @Pure Pigments

Goldwell explains that the Pure Pigments don’t mix together — they sit next to each other on the hair so that each dye reflects its own color.

Pure Yellow, Pure Orange, Pure Red, and Pure Violet create a vibrant effect while Pearl Blue and Matte Green soften and counteract unwanted tones.

When combined with Goldwell’s color brands, @Pure Pigments is designed to create results with 63% more shine, shades are boosted by up to three-times the color intensity, and color will have two-times more resistance to color fading.

"Ya'll," he writes in his Instagram post (he's from North Carolina), "these @Pure Pigments are LIFE!"
