Schwarzkopf Professional’s Essential Looks Collection is all about motion, emotion and self-expression. The collection showcases eight looks across three trends—Feminine Active, Luxe Vibe and Self-Made Youth—interpreted for both the runway and the real world, all created with a sense of true individuality.

“We see Essential Looks as a guideline and not a mandate,” says Simon Ellis, Schwarzkopf Professional international creative director. “Anything and everything goes as long as you feel good. Followers and likes are not the benchmark: You are.”

Shown here is the Luxe Vibe trend, which evokes ’80s power-dressing and big, statement-making hair. Balayage contouring shapes the hair color in which brunettes stay brunettes but with subtle contrast, and blondes are toned to shine bright.
