Jan Hillenmeyer | December 17, 2012 | 2:24 PM

Andrew Biazis was named chief operating officer at Keune Haircosmetics USA. His more than 25 years of professional salon industry experience will be an asset in building the role of the global Holland-based manufacturer in the North American market.

“Currently sold in more than 70 countries, Keune Haircosmetics has been a global leader in the professional beauty business for more than 90 years. That gives the company great credibility with hairdressers, but in the Unites States, it’s one of the best-kept secrets,” says Biazis. “What I admire about the company is that its reason for existence and motivation is to serve the salon and support hairdressers, fulfilling Keune’s long-standing vision of providing hairdressers with the tools for creating ‘the Art of Hairdressing.’”

Biazis has held executive and management positions in some of the professional salon industry’s most well-respected manufacturers. He has extensive experience in business development, sales, marketing, finance and product development.

“As the market learns more about the company’s high performance hair color, care and styling products, Keune will attain a leadership role in the US and Canadian markets. We already provide salons with a professional-only partner that has vast global resources offering the highest quality products and education. Going, forward, we will build upon the dedication and achievements the Keune family has exhibited over three generations,” Biazis says. Visit keuneusa.com.
