DeLeon Promoted at Goldwell and KMS California

Andrea DeLeon has been promoted to vice president of marketing for Kao USA Inc., Salon and will direct the marketing of all Goldwell and KMS California brands in the U.S. The announcement was made by Trevor Attenborough, president and general manager of Kao USA Inc., Salon.

“Andrea has made a number of significant and important contributions during her tenure including architecting every major launch in Kao USA Salon,” says Attenborough. “She is ideally suited to set the vision and drive the overall branding and marketing strategy for the company’s products in her new role. In addition, Andrea’s deep understanding of both domestic and international marketing will be an invaluable asset to us as a global company.”

DeLeon joined Kao USA in 2005. In her previous position of senior director of marketing, she oversaw the restages of KMS California and Goldwell Colorance. She also led initiatives to expand the overall marketing capabilities of both companies.

Trunzo made a name for himself in the nail world as both a manicurist and essie’s Assistant Vice President and was named assistant vice president of business development for Redken and Pureology earlier this year.
