Sport Clips Haircuts Shears Da Beard of Steelers' Brett Keisel

Anne Moratto | February 12, 2013 | 1:55 PM

Sport Clips Haircuts franchisees and stylists presented a $10,000 donation to Steelers defensive end Brett Keisel during his annual “Shear Da Beard” event on February 7, benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. For more than a week leading up to the event, Sport Clips locations in the Pittsburgh area put $1 from every haircut service toward the donation.

Keisel shaved the beard, with a little help from some friends. Teammates, coaches, his son Jacob and even Steelers' chairman Dan Rooney all got a chance to cut a bit of the mountain man beard, while Coach Mike Tomlin cheered them on and took a clip at it as well.
