Entries are due by 11:59 p.m. CST on June 26. MODERN SALON editors will choose the top 10 semifinalists from challenge one entries.
Challenge 2: Top 10 semifinalists
June 23 to July 8
Semifinalists will be asked to create their best style on sun-kissed, balayage-perfect hair by 11:59 p.m. CST on July 8. Entries will be judged by Trae Howard @traehowardhair, Amy Baugh @hairbyamybee, Marissa Sue Madsen @hairbymarissasue, Megan Moran @megahairmaniac, Frances Canola @frances_hairartist, and MODERN SALON editors. The top 10 semifinalists will receive a gift box full of top-notch products and tools from Making Waves sponsors!
Challenge 3: Top 5 finalists
July 9 to July 22
The five finalists will have an AMAZING challenge box shipped to them with the products and tools they’ll need to complete their final challenge.
Using at least two products from the challenge box, finalists must create their best-in-boho submission. Entries are due by 11:59 p.m. CST on July 22.
July 23 to August 5. PUBLIC VOTING OPEN.
On July 23, public voting opens for the final five contestants! Vote for your favorite looks by 11:59 p.m. CST on August 5. Our grand-prize winner will be announced August 6!
