Upload your best special-occasion styles to modernsalon.com/weddingbelles—the look can be an artistic updo, glam waves, feature a braid or anything you can dream up and create.
Looking for some inspiration? Our special-occasion Artist Collective and contest judges—Mustafa Avci (@mustafaavci), Sydney Ann Lopez (@sydneyannlopezhair), Ruby Torrealba(@missrockabillyruby), Hannah Holsomback (@bighairedhannah) and Galyna Poczciwinski(@ufirami)—are great sources of inspiration.
Entries are due by 11:59 p.m. CST on Feb. 7. MODERN SALON editors will choose the top 10 semifinalists from challenge one entries.
Challenge 2: "I Adorn You!" Open to 10 semifinalists only.
Feb. 9 to Feb. 19
Semifinalists will be asked to create an adorned special-occasion look by 11:59 p.m. CST on Feb. 19. Adornments could include braids, twists, knots, hair accessories, jewels, flowers or any other special touches you can dream up. Entries will be judged by the MODERN SALON Artist Collective.
Challenge 3: Bridal updos. Open to top five finalists only.
Feb. 20 to March 12. PUBLIC VOTING OPEN MARCH 6.
The five finalists will have an AMAZING challenge box shipped to them overnight with the products and tools they’ll need to complete their final challenge: a bridal updo.
Using at least two products from the challenge box, finalists must have all hair up for the last challenge. Entries are due by 11:59 p.m. CST on March 5.
On March 6, public voting opens for the final five contestants! Vote for your favorite looks by 11:59 p.m. CST on March 12. Our grand-prize winner will be announced March 13!
