First Chair

Spring 2012

Here is the Spring Edition of the FIRST CHAIR!

Check out the Spring issue of First Chair—the community devoted to the success of tomorrow’s beauty professionals.

This issue focuses on the transition from student to professional, and the growth cycle experienced throughout the process. Beginning on page 49, experience "a day in the life" of three successful new stylists. All are in-demand and taking control of their careers. Learn how they worked—and plan to keep changing—to ensure their success and chart their growth. Then, read how to learn more, and earn more, by exploring new services to add to your skill set, such as eyelash enhancements or hair extensions for instance.

Designed specifically for students, First Chair provides the information, inspiration and industry connection that most successfully transitions them to their new career. First Chair is distributed to all American Association of Cosmetology School (AACS) students, as well as through Pivot Point student kits, Barristar student shows, and Beauty Changes Lives events.
