In 2018, KMS introduced STYLECOLOR, a collection of temporary, waterproof color sprays designed to boost creative expression.

Now, KMS is expanding the STYLECOLOR family, adding three new hues that embody the vibrancy of Miami with wearable, fashion-forward hair color.

KMS says the sprays are easy to apply with even results on both darker and lighter hair. The STYLECOLOR  formula is designed to give even results on every hair color with a polymer complex that contains a blend of pigments that evenly adhere to the hair’s surface, building a flexible, ultra-thin film. The water repellent surface ensures STYLECOLOR only comes off with shampoo. Although, results may vary when used with oil-based products.

After traveling to Miami to discover its Urban Artistry, the KMS style curators were instantly struck by the colorful lifestyle and cultural richness. With residents at the center of what’s next in fashion, art, and nightlife, Miami was an immediate inspiration for the new STYLECOLOR trend tones:

  • Inked Blue: Slightly darker and richer than the existing blue shade in the STYLECOLOR line-up, Inked Blue creates a tone for an even more vibrant result. Inspired by Miami’s bright and bold Wynwood Art District, Inked Blue can be used alongside Stone Wash Denim for a balayage effect.
  • Nude Peach: Drawing inspiration from the elegance of Miami’s iconic Art Déco architecture, Nude Peach takes its cue from the city’s pastel-hued buildings. This color is ideal for subtle highlights or a full-head statement.
  • Velvet Berry: Also taking inspiration from Miami’s Wynwood Art District, Velvet Berry is a warm-toned purple shade that is designed to give any style intense depth. Use as an accent or layer with a moderate tone from the existing STYLECOLOR line up.
