The lotion begins with a long slow steep that infuses warmed organic coconut milk with passion fruit pulp. The infused milk is then blended into the moisturizers, and the result is an exotic, citrus-scented moisturizer.
Ahead of Aveda’s 40th anniversary this fall, the brand will be relaunching one of its first products. In 1978, Horst Rechelbacher launched Aveda with a handful of shampoos and one conditioner: Cherry Almond Bark. The conditioner was a fan favorite for 30 years and was discontinued just over a decade ago.
