Photo Collection: Back to Basic from Munich's HairGott
From precision bobs and sculpted curly silhouettes to the Hymne Cut, modern mullets and softly layered short cuts, HairGott’s BACK TO BASIC Collection explores the interplay of clean contours, fluid movement and expressive texture.
Based in Munich, Germany, HairGott brings together an international team across three salons. Founder, master stylist, and educator Horst Nachtigall leads the creative direction of BACK TO BASIC, a collaborative collection that pairs experienced hands with emerging talent. Nachtigall also photographed the collection, with hair created by the HairGott Team.
Since 1994, HairGott has presented its own hair collection every year. Each collection is developed as a collaborative project involving the entire team, with both experienced team members and apprentices contributing to the creation and execution of the looks. This year, four apprentices took creative responsibility for their own model for the first time, developing their look independently from the initial idea through to the final result.
As a Paul Mitchell Flagship Store, HairGott combines precision craftsmanship with professional product expertise. The colour looks in the BACK TO BASIC collection were created using Wella Professionals color.
