FineCutPRO Shears

Professional stylist tool manufacturer Olivia Garden released a new shear for point cutting on wet or dry hair — the FineCutPRO Shear. These new shears are made from ultra sharp, reinforced steel alloy for extra strength.

The FineCutPRO shears feature thin and pointy blades that work well around the hairline and ears, for point cutting, graduation, and precision work. The shears are available in three sizes 5.5”, 6”, and 6.5” for right- and left-handed hairstylists. Both models’ comfort offset design — with special thumb curvature and permanent finger rest — keeps stylists’ hands in a relaxed, natural position. Every purchase of the FineCutPRO shear includes a zipper case, ShearCare oil brush, cleaning cloth, finger ring inserts, and tool to adjust tension.

“Point cutting is an art and we wanted to provide hairstylists with a tool that allows them to deliver for thei clients. The FineCutPRO Shear was designed with ultra-sharp thin and pointy blades that allow hairstylists to soften ends and impart texture with ease,”

— Anne Maza, co-owner of Olivia Garden.

New Professional Thermal Brushes Made from Recycled Materials

The brand deepens its commitment to environmentally conscious design with latest brush collection, the NewCycle Thermal Brush Collection. Similar to other popular Olivia Garden releases, the NewCycle Thermal Brush Collection aims to reduce plastic waste and uses recycled plastic pellets and other materials from barrel to handle, including:

  • Barrel: Made from recycled aluminum and no paint, except for its ceramic coating which allows the brush to heat up faster and retain heat longer.

  • Pastic Parts: Brush neck, end cap, styling pick, etc. — made from recycled appliances (refrigerators, washing machines, computers, and more)

  • Handle: Made from post-consumer recycled items such as shoes, toys, and more.

The NewCycle Thermal Brush Collection features ion charged bristles which hydrate the hair’s cuticle, add shine, and eliminate frizz and flyaways. Its lightweight, ergonomic comfort grip handle, made from 100% recycled materials, is designed for effortless rotation during blowouts. The collection consists of four different barrel sizes: extra small, 1”, 1 ¼”, 1 ⅝”, and 2 ⅛”.

“We were the first company to make brushes from bamboo — a renewable resource — but we haven’t stopped there. The NewCycle Thermal Brush Collection makes use of plastic from discarded household appliances to help reduce waste. We found a way to offer a complete range of brushes made from 100% recycled materials without affecting performance, quality, or longevity. Hairstylists can feel good about using these brushes everyday.”

— Anne Maza, co-owner of Olivia Garden.
