Christian Siriano presented his Fall/Winter 2011 Collection last evening at the Mercedes Benz tents at the opening night of New York Fashion Week. With hair by Aveda's Antoinette Beenders, he hit a home run.
Ok...New York Fashion Week for the fall/winter 2011 collections kicks off tomorrow, but Aveda decided to get a jump on the official opening and offered the services of Antoinette Beenders as lead stylist and Janell Geason as lead make-up artist for the Organic by John Patrick show. Titled "Model Off Duty" the look was simply gorgeous..messy and glamorous at the same time.
The spring fashions shown during Fashion Week in September were complemented with textured styles. Experts predict fall fashions this month will see even more curls, waves and volume. When Allen Ruiz, North American style director for Aveda and co-owner of Jackson Ruiz in Austin, Texas, heads out to New York for February’s Fall 2011 Fashion Week, he predicts texture will be everywhere.
