Pivot Point International, Inc., headquartered in Evanston, Illinois, has released an in-depth study engaging more than 500 consumers to determine what they look for in a hair designer. The study also helps establish communication patterns between consumers and designers.
Matrix received three top awards and eight nominations in the first annual Peel’s Picks Awards, conducted by Peel’s Salon Services. Peel’s polled more than 20,000 of its salon customers regarding favorite products in an online survey. Matrix garnered three top awards--Favorite Permanent Hair color: Socolor, Favorite Demi-Permanent Hair color: Color Sync and Favorite Bleach Lightener: V-Light De-Dusted Lightener.
The 17th annual Sally Beauty Best Tressed Survey, commissioned by Sally Beauty Supply, polled results from 1,000 women on 2010’s best and worst celebrity hair styles. Lady Gaga’s over-the-top styles were voted least favorite for the second year in a row, but women love the luscious locks of American Idol judge, Jennifer Lopez. Tom Selleck rose to the top in the men’s category, while David Hasselhoff’s retro ’do was rated as the worst. Here are the results:
