HallowGenius returns! The annual Halloween contest hosted by GlossGenius, the software powering the beauty and wellness industry, is back for its seventh year.

The competition invites all beauty professionals to enter their best Halloween look for the chance to win a $1,000 gift card towards the beauty supplier of their choice (Sephora, Ulta, etc.). Beauty professionals can enter looks they’ve done on themselves, their clients, or their staff, and can also enter how they’ve decorated their salons and professional space.

Beauty pros can enter by posting their Halloween-themed look on Instagram or TikTok, tagging @GlossGenius and using #GlossGenius and #HallowGenius. One winner will win the grand prize of a $1,000 gift card, and three honorable mentions will also win $250 gift cards for the categories of Best Scary, Best Pop Culture and Best Decor.
The deadline to enter is October 27 at 12 PM Eastern Time. The top 10 entries will be chosen by a combination of community engagement and GlossGenius judges, which will be announced in an Instagram post on October 28th. The community will then vote from October 28th to October 31st for their favorite look via comments on that post, and whoever gets the most votes will be the winner. A combination of community engagement and GlossGenius judges will select the honorable mentions. Winners will be announced November 1st.
