Celebrity Stylist Marie Ferro has created numerous makeovers on clients both young and old. In this makeover, she added a bit of warmth to give this mature client's skin a youthful glow. She also added a rich undertone with lowlights to put color back into the skin. "With the invention of HD Television everything shows on my celebrity clients now more than ever. Color detailing the tonal range in the hair is very important," she says. "They want to see the hair pop off the screen."
Multi-dimensional Redhead Makeover
If your clients are looking to spice up their color, try transitioning them into a multi-dimensional redhead. "With this model I took her flat brown color and painted in variations of golden copper and copper red which play off each other to create a lot of movement in her hair," says Celebrity Stylist Marie Ferro who created this look.
'60s Bourgeois Runway Updo
Taking the inspiration from the bourgeois runway looks from Bottega Veneta and Jean Paul Gaultier, hair stylist Clive, from Clive and Co. in Dallas, Texas, was inspired to create a hair cut that interpreted this updo runway trend in a way that it can be worn with shorter hair. This makes the style wearable for everybody, taking away the mystique that runway style is outlandish and unrealistic for every day wear.
Volumized, Loose Waves at Eli Tahari

Enchanted Bride
For this editorial hair story, Photographer Jean Sweet (also the Art Director for the shoot) chose three fairy tale characters: the Evil Queen of Snow White, Red Riding Hood and Rapunzel to be styled in bridal. Griglin was given the chance to create the hair for the Evil Queen in which she executed the hair style with a wire form base underneath a blend of the model's own hair and extensions detailed with multi-textural braids, waves and curls.
