Yesterday was beautiful. I woke up to the sounds of Paris coming through my hotel window, along with some of the nicest weather I could have hoped for. I blogged, ate some deli meats and cheese for breakfast, and thought about how I could, very much, get used to this!
Last night's Welcome Reception for North American visitors to Goldwell's Color Zoom event in Paris was phenomenal. Really, beyond all expectations, stunning. The venue chosen for the get-together party was Pavillion Ledoyen at Champs-Lysee Garden--it was beautiful and quintessentially French.

If you’re looking for inspiration, the place to be yesterday was undoubtedly Toronto, Ontario, where the 2010 Wella Trend Vision competition took place. In addition to presentations from Wella, Sebastian and Nioxin platform artists and creative directors, winners were determined from among finalists competing for the chance to represent their countries at the International Trend Vision in Paris. For the first time, the local competition included both U.S. and Canadian finalists for an event with a true international flair.
