Photo Shoot: Golden Hour Collection from Coterie Salon

This collection of images from the Coterie Salon team in Robbinsville, NJ proves that classic hairstyling, set off by understated fashion and makeup, can remain timeless and relevant.

These photos were first shared with me over a year ago, and as I returned to its elegant aesthetic, I was impressed by the enduring impact of quality visuals--well lit, nicely shot, and beautifully curated. Under the direction of international editorial artist Peter Gray, the team emphasized the richness of the hair color set against neutral backgrounds. And all of it bathed in a golden light.

Coterie calls this campaign, "The Golden Hour," referencing that time before sunset when everyone looks filtered and luminous.
