Hey everyone! As I write this, I am one mile away from one of the COOLEST places to be—the Mecca of fashion—New York’s Mercedes Benz Fashion Week! Today has been such a whirlwind of action as it’s my very first Fashion Week, and I must say, all of my expectations have been surpassed.
At NAHA 2009, Faatemah Ampey won the prestigious Fashion Forward award. Next up: Faatemah will be emceeing at ISSE’s International Fashion Theatre January 30-February 1 in Long Beach, California. Here, she creates some of her most beautiful, innovative work exclusively for MODERN SALON.
Maggie Mulhern says: Damien Carney, International Creative Director of Joico, is a total blast! We hung out last week at the Hama Sanders studio in LA. We were shooting three models...going for the July cover. Damien was challenged with pulling off something special for our "International" issue.
