America’s Beauty Show, owned and produced by Cosmetologists Chicago, invites the professional beauty industry to experience the official launch of America’s Beauty Show 2027 in an entirely new way.
What happens when the PULSE of professional beauty becomes something you can, see, feel, and experience?
On Tuesday, October 13, 2026, America’s Beauty Show by Cosmetologists Chicago will answer that question with an immersive gallery experience launching its 2027 season at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont. It will become a gathering place, and a celebration of the artistry, relationships, creativity, and community that move the professional beauty industry forward with heart.
At the center of the experience will be the official debut of the America’s Beauty Show 2027 Creative Direction and Model Imagery Collection produced by the Chrystofer Benson (CBC) Artist Team. Guests will experience the collection in a gallery-style environment that turns PULSE, The Heartbeat of the Professional Beauty Industry, into a visual language, exploring movement, transformation, and human connection.
"The theme of ABS 2027 is Pulse. Pulse to me is energy, and energy is everything - you can feel it, and I think it is how you put energy into things. We asked our award winning team to find different movements that happen with Pulse - the lines, the linear movements, and how we incorporate that into braids, into barbering, into cutting, and the range in what we did naturally is what CBC is,” stated Chrystofer Benson, Founder, CBC, Editor in Chief, Collective INKD Magazine, Globally Awarded Artist.
The experience will also provide guests with an inside look at what is ahead for America’s Beauty Show 2027, taking place Saturday, April 3 through Monday, April 5, 2027, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center.
Beauty professionals, media, artists, educators, industry leaders, brands, and partners will come together to celebrate the people, ideas, and artistry shaping professional beauty. Guests will have the opportunity to connect with the Cosmetologists Chicago Board of Directors, the America’s Beauty Show Team, industry leaders, and fellow beauty professionals in an environment designed for conversation, collaboration, and community.

America’s Beauty Show 2027 will bring generations of licensed beauty professionals together for three days of education, artistry, discovery, and connection.
The 2027 experience is set to include more than 200 CEUs and 400 classes across hair, color, barbering, nails, esthetics, skincare, makeup, business, health and wellness, and professional development, along with hundreds of brands and opportunities to discover new products, techniques, trends, and innovations. 2027 is a renewal year for Cosmetologists and Estheticians in Illinois.
Throughout the show, professionals can learn from respected artists and educators, meet brands face-to-face, experience new products, shop industry savings, earn continuing education, celebrate exceptional artistry, and build relationships that can move their careers and businesses forward.
The PULSE of the show will take many forms: The Health & Wellness Pavilion, Barbering, Nail and Student Competitions, The She Leads Network, Evening Entertainment, an enhanced Value Center, and social experiences that extend the energy beyond the show floor.
Entries for the 2027 ABS Global Image Awards (GIA) are open through Monday, November 30, 2026, giving artists from around the world an opportunity to have their creativity, technical excellence, and vision seen and celebrated on an international stage.
