Last weekend, licensed barbers, cosmetologists, and students competed in the Total Look Barbering Competition sponsored by Andis Company to cut, trim, and style hair, during the Bronner Bros International Beauty Show.

The competition challenged contestants to showcase their unique cutting visions for the industry and highlight the
innovative technology that Andis products are known for.

With one hour on the clock, competitors displayed new shapes, wardrobes, textures, colors, and styles for a live
audience to complete their “total look” for the modern man from hair tips to shoe soles.

As part of the guidelines, contestants were tasked with removing at least one half-inch of hair, using their Andis tool package and to complete their haircut during the one-hour timeframe.

The top winners were awarded monetary prizes based on originality, suitability, head contour, and new ideas for a share of $900 in cash prizes.

The winners of the Total Look Barbering Competition included: Jasmine Harris (@meetyournewbarber), Dennis Murray (@iamdc_the_kuttkreator), and Christopher Quinones (@cqthebarber). The first-place winner received $500, while the second and third place finishers received $250 and $150, respectively.
