After receiving countless entries since the contest’s launch, it was extremely difficult to narrow the pool of beautiful, boho, festival styles down to 10. From big braids, space buns, fun accessories, beautiful balayage and glitter, it wasn’t easy to judge this first round, but it certainly was beautiful!

This group of 10 semifinalists not only earn major bragging rights, but they also receive incredible prizes, including a gift box packed with goodies (we’re not kidding, it’s PACKED) from some of our favorites—Agadir, Alfaparf, Bio Ionic, Clairol, Colortrak, GK Hair, Hot Tools, HairUWear Professional, Jatai, Kenra Professional, Keune Haircosmetics, LAKME, Matrix, Moroccanoil, Product Club, Platinum Seamless, Schwarzkopf Professional, Scruples and Ulta. These pro beauty brands pulled out all the stops to gift this group with the goodies to help up their styling business and create polished, picture-perfect finishes.

But the semifinalists aren’t off the hook just yet—MODERN is challenging them to create another festival-inspired look. We are asking them to create their best style on sun-kissed, balayage-perfect hair by 11:59 p.m. CST on July 22.. Entries will be judged by the MODERN SALON Artist Collective, including Jennifer Lopiccolo (@jenniferlopiccolo_hair), Sarah Vondracek (@beautymarkedbysarah), Alexa Grace Chwarzynski (@ay_grace), and Haley Garber (@beautybyhaleygarber).
