What happens when Professional Nail artists’ passions ranging from biochemistry and molecular biology to poetry and high fashion come together on the runway? Find out at the Beauty Changes Lives Experience on Sunday, April 29. During the runway experience, NextGen artists from CNDwill present designs that push boundaries while interpreting the theme “Exposed”. Meet the CND Pivot Point NextGen mentor and team members:

CND Mentor Torie Bastian, IG: @ThePolishedPinky

Represented by FORD Artists, Torie is founder of The Polished Pinky Nail Salon and a CND Education Ambassador. She is part of CND’s core design team for Fashion Week events in New York, London, and Paris. As a licensed Nail Professional for 20 years, Torie has a rich history with CND. Beyond her work at fashion events, she also lends her talent to creative projects including advertising campaigns.

A nail educator for more than 15 years, CND Education Ambassador Gina loves paying her knowledge and artistry forward to help emerging talent. Constantly working to advance her own knowledge of design and the Professional Nail industry, Gina says, “I want to reach more Nail Professionals and empower them – helping others is the pinnacle of my career.”

Growing up in a family-owned salon, John was exposed to nail design very early in life, but also had a passion for science. After earning a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, John chose to pursue his early passion for art and design, returning to a career as a Professional Nail artist. A CND Education Ambassador since 2014, John is inspired by the innovations that drive an evolving industry connecting art, business and technology.

If you can dream it, you can become it.” A Professional Nail artist for 14 years, Trisha loves to incorporate her passion for poetry into the designs she creates for clients and specializes in hand painted nail art.
