Spring is a time of renewed life, and weddings represent a new beginning. Naturally, nature serves as a no-brainer in inspiring looks wedding season. 

During Bridal Fashion Week, Sebastian Professional International Lead Stylist Anthony Cole was intrigued by natural elements of Christian Siriano’s vision board for his collection. Inspired by the intricate layers of flower petals, Cole created a multi-strand, braided up-do to resemble the elegance and feminine beauty inherently occurring in nature.

GET THE LOOK: Step 1: Spray Sebastian Professional Zero Gravity hairspray throughout the roots of the hair and massage the product into the scalp to create a textured base.

Step 2: Using a few pumps of Sebastian Professional Potion 9 and Mousse Forte, work in the mixture from roots to tip to dampen and thicken the hair.

Step 3: Parting the hair to the left-hand side, blow-dry the hair straight in an upward and outward motion with a round brush.

Step 4: Spray Sebastian Professional Texture Maker and Texturizer throughout the hair, layering each one lightly from a distance.

Step 5: Blow dry the hair again and fluff the hair with your fingertips.

Step 6: Taking Sebastian Professional Craft Clay, melt the product between your hands and work a small amount throughout and follow by brushing the hair.

Step 7: Taking 1-2 pumps of Sebastian Professional Dark Oil, smooth the hair to tame flyaways.

Step 8: Starting at the top of the hair, create a French braid in a downward and sideways motion to hug the perimeter of the face, secure the braid at the base of the neck with a pony tail.

Step 9: With the remaining hair, create a herringbone braid and secure with a elastic at the ends. Pull at the edges of the braid to create a tethered and voluminous look.

Step 10: Twist the braid into a bun at and secure with bobby pins. Spray with Sebastian Professional Zero Gravity for a finishing touch.
