Don't think it's possible to give your client's color look a total makeover in 15 minutes? Think again. 

Artist Connective member Jennifer LoPiccolo (@jenniferlopiccolo_hair) custom colored The Band from Hotheads Hair Extensions and transformed her client's purple mid-lengths and ends to a multi-colored nebula of cotton-candy inspired hues. 

The Band is a one-size-fits-all accessory. Made from 100% Remy Human Hair, it lays naturally on the head for a flawlessly blended look. It comes with a stretchable elastic weft for simple application. The Band is available in 14″-16″ and 18″-20″ and in 20 shades including naturals, blends, and Colormelts.

LoPiccolo wanted to custom color her Band to fit with her aesthetic of vibrant hues and bright creative-color creations. 

"It literally took me 15 minutes to change up [my model's] look," LoPiccolo wrote on Instagram. "Using The Band from Hotheads Hair Extensions, I custom colored its 18-20” band."

After coloring, The Band itself takes less than 15 minutes to apply. To color, LoPiccolo first used a light brown/natural shade with 10 volume developer, balayaging the ends with a cream lightener and 20 volume developer. Sh dried off The Band and then used five different vibrant hues with a bond builder for added integrity. Beginning with the deepest purple color just under the level 5, she blended it into orchid, pink, peach, blue and then back to pink, orchid and purple hues. This created the bright shine line toward the center. 

"I wanted to create a pop of a color while still blending in with [the model's] already purple ends," LoPiccolo says. "Shine lines are my favorite right now because it gives an awesome effect and photographs amazingly."
