Androgenetic Alopecia: Female pattern hair loss. Usually genetically inherited. Can also be caused by aging change in androgen levels.

Telogen Effluvium: Known as temporary hair loss and can affect everyone. Causes: diet, stress, etc.

Anagen Effluvium: Usually occurs with chemotherapy or radiation: opposed to Telogen Effluvium, the hair is lost during the growing stage of hair growth. It is rapid hair loss.

Alopecia: Considered to be autoimmune disorders

• Areata: Some or all areas of body, usually bald spots.

• Totalis: Is the loss of all head hair

• Universalis: Medical condition including rapid loss of hair
