Iris Guzman (@guzman22) at artist at Seiren Salon of Providence, Rhode Island, knew she wanted to be a hair stylist "ever since I was 12 years old practicing on my little sister's hair."  Here she had a fun opportunity to transform her client using extensions, a cut and beautiful styling:

Step 1:  Wash hair thoroughly and apply deep treatment under a steamer.
Step 2: Blowdry section by section with a Denman large paddle brush.
Step 3: Sectioning a quarter of an inch of hair at a time, flat iron (press)

*Depending on the thickness of the client's hair and desired length will determine how many tracks are needed*

Step 4: Create two small braids from the left and right side at a quarter of an inch thick and secure in the middle.
Step 5: With needle and thread, sew track/extension into the braid.
Step 6: Repeat the process leaving half an inch to one inch between each track. Also, leaving outer edges of scalp free. Then cut (blend) and style all together.
