The Professional Beauty Association (PBA), producers of the North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA), is proud to announce Giuliana Rancic as the host for the 2012 NAHA Awards Ceremony. Additionally, Giuliana will be the recipient of the Beautiful Humanitarian Award, honoring her for sharing her own experience and educating others about breast cancer, as well as championing many other charitable causes.
As a renowned entertainment and red-carpet journalist, Giuliana is known for her work as co-anchor of E! News, as a beauty expert as co-host of E!’s Fashion Police, and as the executive producer and star of the Style Network's Giuliana & Bill reality show.
"I am thrilled to host the 2012 North American Hairstyling Awards and truly honored to be the recipient of the Professional Beauty Association's Beautiful Humanitarian Award," Giuliana says. "Beauty professionals are at the heart of making people look and feel their best, and I’m excited to be a part of this amazing event."
In addition to the powerful message of strength and awareness that Giuliana has helped spread, she and her husband, noted entrepreneur and talk-show host Bill Rancic, are supporters of additional charitable causes including Bright Pink, Operation Smile, Dress for Success, Mercy Home for Boys & Girls in Chicago, and the Children’s Miracle Networks.
Past winners of the Award include Holly Madison, Nancy O'Dell and Holly Robinson Peete.
The 2012 NAHA Awards Ceremony will be held Sunday, July 22, 2012 at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas. The finalists of this year's competition will be announced live on PBA Beauty Week's Facebook, Monday April 30th 5pm PST.
