Jason Backe's Instagram profile says he's "obsessed with making the girls feel pretty," and we think he's doing a pretty good job of that!

Backe is the co-owner of Ted Gibson Salons, a brand ambassador for L’Oréal Professionnel and a colorist extraordinaire, in our humble opinion. He's been making several fall cut-and-color transformations and was generous enough to share them with MODERN, so we're sharing them with you!

This Hitchcock blonde is the color we'd imagine the leading ladies of several of Hitchcock's films would have been rocking had the films been in color. Back translated the black-and-white beauties to color well, though; the blonde has an edgy feel about it that is a great fit for fall. The cut is by Amit Abraham.

GET THE COLOR: HITCHCOCK BLONDE

STEP 1: At the mid-lengths and ends, use L’Oréal Professionnel Infinie Platine with 40 volume.

STEP 2: Lift to pale yellow.

STEP 3: At the new growth, use L’Oréal Professionnel Infinie Platine with 20 volume.

STEP 4: Lift to pale yellow.

STEP 5: Tone with L’Oréal Professionnel Dia Light 9.11 and 15 volume.

STEP 6: At the new growth first, deposit shadow, then move to mid-lengths and ends to neutralize.
