Not that we’re keeping score, but this may be a record. Matrix Artistic Director Chrystofer Benson has been a NAHA finalist 18 times, and he’s a four-time winner. It’s determination that helped him amass all these accolades, and it started with another insanely creative artist. “When my mentor (Matrix Artistic Director) Nicholas French won his award in 2008,” Benson recalls, “I told him, ‘I’ll be back here to collect one of these.’” And he has been--four times so far!
In addition to his role as Matrix Artistic Director, Benson also serves as a Global Design Team Member for the company. In both roles, he brings his creative vision, communication skills and technical talent to Matrix’s education and photographic projects. His latest venture is the Chrystofer Benson Collective www.haircbc.com —a product and education initiative dedicated to the craft and artistry of hairdressing.

The awards will be held Sunday, July 29, 2018, at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
