hairtalk® has held its place as a hair extension leader and innovator for more than two decades—and with the launch of the brand’s Keratin strand-by-strand extensions, you can now shop all hair extension methods under one hairtalk roof.
Joining the long line-up of solutions from tape-ins and sew-ins, to bang and topper clip enhancement pieces, hairtalk’s Keratin thermal fusion extensions are thoughtfully created with a bond that is soft and flexible, allowing clients to wear their hair however they please—up, down and everything in between. With a matte finish, the Keratin bond is designed to be totally discreet and undetectable.
“Clients always want more extensions in the front, because that’s what they see when they look in the mirror or as they stare at themselves on Zoom all day,” says Vicki Casciola, Hairtalk Global Artistic Director. “Keratin strand-by-strands are so undetectable that they allow you to add extensions in areas of the head that used to be off limits.”

Vicki Casciola, Hairtalk Global Artistic Director, says clients who like to wear their hair up, or are struggling with fine hair on high-visibility areas of their head, will love Keratin strand-by-strands.
As with all hairtalk extensions, the quality of the 100% Remy cuticle-on human hair is unmatched. With more than 55 colors to choose from—including Naturals, Colormelts and Rooted— stylists can now achieve volume, color or length in virtually any color combination.
Featuring hairtalk’s signature pre-tapered ends, stylists will be able to easily create seamless results with less time spent blending. Another time-saver is the pre-customized 1-cm height of the bond—an in-demand height that lets extensionists apply more bonds in less time.
“A lot of my clients are athletes or spend a lot of time in the gym and like to wear their hair up in a ponytail, the Keratin bonds are so flexible they can put their hair up with ease,” Casciola says. “And the matte bonds are so lightweight and undetectable that they allow me to safely and discreetly apply the extensions in areas that don’t have much density.”
A Keratin installation traditionally allows for a 3-to-5 month wear time, so although it is more of a premium service than other application methods, Keratin is the longest-lasting application wear time.
“High-impact, face-framing highlights are so in-demand—but those front pieces can be fragile and bear the brunt of styling damage,” Casciola says. “I love to create a power face-frame using Keratin bonds instead of lightener to maintain her hair’s integrity, while getting her as blonde as she wants to be.”
Each pack is available in 4 lengths 13”, 17”, 21”, 25”, and comes with 25 strands. A volumizing or color service traditionally uses between 2-4 packs of hair, while a lengthening service uses between 3-6 packs, depending on the density of the guests’ hair.
“There are die-hard strand-by-strand extension clients—I didn’t want to be in a position of having to turn anyone away,” Casciola says. “The addition of hairtalk’s Keratin bonds ensures I won’t ever have to do that. Whether she wants weft or tape-in, clip-ins or thermal fusion—or any hybrid service that combines methods—hairtalk allows me to have it all.”
