The 2015 male sporting tightly cropped sides with a structured pompadour is what inspired Sassoon-trained Mio Sota of Chicago’s Trio Salon when developing her men’s collection. For each look, she added a textured fringe and disconnection to make the cut more modern, but still very much on trend.
“The sides and back have individualized tapering, which creates complementary silhouettes and brings out the disconnected textured fringe,” said Sota. “Not only does this strengthen the overall design, it provides an edgy yet timeless feel, offering various styling options.”
