Brandon Maxwell’s Spring/Summer 2019 Collection drew inspiration from bubblegum Barbie. Models donned bright colors in classic feminine silhouettes for a modern version of the classic American aesthetic. OribeGlobal Ambassador, James Pecis, created a mix of styles including bouncy blowouts with volume and chic chignons to complement the fashion's vibrant hues.

Recreate the Blowout:

1. Apply a generous amount of Maximista Thickening Spray from roots to ends and blow out using Oribe’s Round Brush.

2. Apply a second layer of Maximista Thickening Spray and blow it in again pulling hair straight up and away from the face for volume.

3. Pin in sections rolling away from the face to lock in volume.

4. Brush out and finish with Impermeable Anti-Humidity Spray.  

Recreate the Chignon:

1. Apply Supershine Moisturizing Cream and stretch hair with a blow dryer.

2. Flat iron the hair in sections.

3. Secure hair into a low pony tail.

4. Apply Star Glow Styling Wax to the ponytail, then use the product on the sides of the head to smooth down edges.

5. Braid hair in the ponytail and roll it into a tight chignon at the nape of the neck. Pin to secure.
