Dashing Diva's Patricia Yankee was the lead nail artist for several shows at the most recent Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in NYC. Not only did she paint and freshen nails, but she created many designs for some top designers.
"I saw that grays and crescent moons were quite popular for the spring/summer 2013 season," she told me recently. "Appliques. Gold nails. Airbrush. Lots of 80's looks and nail art. It's all coming back."
Patricia went on to say that nail jewelry is on an upswing and as far as shape is concerned, "It's very exciting for manicurists. The length and shape is getting a bit more dramatic...pointier and longer. It's a great time to be in the nail world."
