Garren, Celebrity Hairstylist and Co-Founder of R+Co and R+Co BLEU (@garrennewyork), used R+Co BLEU products to create the Dita Von Teese-inspired looks at the Anna Sui Fall/Winter 2025 Show at New York Fashion Week.

The hair for Anna Sui was a polished, pinup girl look to complement the Madcap Heiress-themed collection.

“Everybody has been wearing their hair natural and wavy for so long. We wanted to change the mood, because in this collection, there are beautiful knits and textures, so we wanted smoother hair," Garren explains. "We decided to set the hair in a polished look with a nod to Bettie Page and Dita Von Teese. That’s the yin and yang – very chic clothes with pinup girl hair!”

R+Co BLEU products enhance fullness, add shine and deliver bounce and memory for large curls and perfectly curled bumper bangs.

See below for details on the look and the R+Co BLEU products used:

1. For fine hair, blow hair out using Magnifier Thickening Spray, topped with Essential Hair Tonic to give hair bounce and memory when setting the hair.

2. For curly hair, use Smooth & Seal Blow-Dry Mist to seal the cuticle, and blow the hair out.

3. Roll the bangs really tight, rolling them under, and then pin them in place.

4. Take two sides of the front of the hair from ear to ear, and roll each section forward, so it creates a U-shaped crown at the top of the head and secure with pins.

5. Curl the back of the hair with a 1 ½ inch curling iron.

6. Tease the back of the hair with a brush.

7. Roll the curls with Velcro rollers, rolling them under for a pageboy look.

8. Finish with Cult Classic Flexible Hairspray, a dry, hard hold hairspray, only spraying the front and the crown.

9. Leave the back of the hair soft and natural for movement.
